Where we are in Olvera

AlfiCasa is located in the centre of town. If approaching the town from the east, continue along the main street until you reach the fountain in the Plaza de la Concordia. The AlfiCasa office is straight in front of you.

If approaching from the west, continue on the road past the castle along Calle Bellavista. You will pass the coach station on your left. At the first major junction, take a right and you will see the fountain in the Plaza de la Concordia in front of you. The AlfiCasa office is to your right off the roundabout.

By Car

From the UK

Probably the easiest way to drive to Spain is via ferry from Portsmouth or Plymouth, to Bilbao or Santander (both on the north coast of Spain) and then through central Spain and on to Andalucia.

Altenatively you can take one of the cross channel ferries or Eurotunnel and drive through France and the Pyrennese. Obviously, this is a longer route and will require overnight stays, but this can be made part of the adventure!

The drive through Spain takes approximately 10 hours, but the roads are excellent and even around Madrid the congestion can be minimal.

Please see the note below regarding insurance, etc.

From other European Countries

The road network in Spain is excellent, and driving can be an ideal way to see what the different regions of Spain have to offer.

Driving in Spain is not difficult, but you should ensure that you have a Green Card from your insurance company, sufficient breakdown cover and an International Driving Licence (if required).

By Train

Spain has a high speed network linking all of the major cities, and local trains operating within the regions. For more information in English, visit the RENFE website by clicking here.

By Bus

Buses in Spain are comfortable and efficient. Although described as 'buse services', the vehicles plying the routes are usually an air-conditioned coaches. To the tourist the Spanish bus system may seem a bit complex especially as there are many lines covering long distance journeys. However buses are recommended for both their comfort, price and convenience for short trips and for longer excursions. Please contact the AlfiCasa website if you require further information.
